Nominations will be accepted from January 11 – February 21, 2016.  Visit Front Yards in Bloom: Winterscapes for more info!

Once again the City is offering free Learn to Skate programs at Community League rinks across Edmonton. Children aged 6-12 can try out various basic skating skills at their own pace through on-ice games and activities. Trained leaders will be on hand to adapt the program to the age and skill level of the participants.

Please note:

  • Participants must have their own skates
  • A CSA approved helmet is required
  • Participants under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult
  • The program will be cancelled at -20 degrees Celsius with the wind-chill

The program at Spruce Ave Rink will run Saturdays from January 9th to February 27th at 2pm*. There are also a limited number of skates and helmets available to borrow at no cost.

(*please note there is no program February 13th because of the Family Day weekend)
